(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) ■ . (Received March 30, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, March 29. A message from Hankow states that 30,000 Japanese mechanised troops who have been cut off from the rear are making a desperate attempt to break the encircling Chinese forces.
Fighting continues on a 50-mile line from Lincheng to Taierchwang, where there is every possibility that the Japanese will, be engulfed. The Chinese report further successes, on a wide front. Chinese guerrilla troops captured Hohsien. In north-west China, Chinese forces ' recovered Sarachi City, Inner Mongolia, where 4000 troops of the puppet State surrendered.
