FROZEN LAMB IN LONDON

The tendency of the frozen lamb market in London is steady at unchanged prices, according to the weekly cable received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. Bright weather is encouraging consumption. Mutton prices are unchanged and trade is slow. The demand for frozen beef is slow owing to the lower prices for chilled beef. Chilled beef prices are easier owing to heavier supplies of Brazilian and Empire. New Zealand porket pigs market dull, owing to warm weather. Baconers are steady and unchanged.

The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board advises that the following are the ruling prices of'wholesale'quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods Sold on March 24. Chilled beef prices are averages'of the week. All prices are on the basis of delivered to Smithfleld market. Prices for the previous week are given in parentheses:—
