DOUBLE ACCIDENT
MAORI KILLED
MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED

TAURANGA, This Day.
A Maori, Ngati Kokiri, single, aged 55, was knocked down by,, a motorcycle ridden by Arthur Ollivier, of Pongakawa, while walking home last night to Waitangi settlement, about, a mile from Te Puke, and sustained severe hsad injuries, from which he died just after the arrival of a doctor.
Constable Jackson, of Te Puke, also went to the scene, and he left his car parked on the roadside with all the lights on. It wiis run into by a motorcycle driven by John Blackmore. Blackmore suffered concussion and was taken to the Te Puke Hospital.
