BARCELONA, March 15.
The merchantman Isla de Menorca was bombed and machine-gunned and sunk by rebel aircraft off Tarragona.
The Isla de Menorca (1003 tons), formerly the Theseus, was a Spanish ship owned by the Cia Trasmediterranea.
