NOW MR. LANG'S ENEMY
THE "LABOR DAILY"
HINTS GIVEN TO THE ELECTORS
SYDNEY, February 25,
The 'Labor Daily," which until last week was the weapon which Mr. J. T. Lang, Leader of the Opposition, used for flaying party and political opponents, has suddenly become his deadliest enemy, in the hands of the industrial group. - Its leading columns today give broad hints to the electors of what should be done with the Leader of the Opposition at the forthcoming election on March 26. "Labour is now presented with its great opportunity," it states. "No longer will Mr. Lang be the obstacle to the return of the Labour Government That bugbear politician is now to all Intents and purposes just an ordinary candidate _t the polls, and the electors of Auburn (Mr. Langs constituency) will see to it that he is relegated tot a place where he can create no further mischief to the party.' No longer hou'ld we have the cry, 'Lang is too big a load to carry.'" The Sydney Labour Council has adopted the "Labor Daily" as its official organ.
