Obviously- tr) frustrate the possibility of Chinese air raids on Japan, Japanese planes bombed coastal aerodromes at Chuchow, Fuchow, Changchow, and Arnoy.^ The Japanese are attacking Linsshihsien, 70 miles south-west _of Tan-nan,, as part of their campaign in Shansi Province to round up Chinese Communist guerrilla troops.
The Japanese claim to have captured all the key points on the Yellow River in North Honan. The Chinese admit the loss of and Mengshien. near Fengkiu. The Cbinese claim to have brought down eight of fifty-nine Japanese planes which were raiding Nanchang, besides shooting down eight in the Kwantung Province. They admit the loss of two machines.
