NEW SWIMMING BATHS

EKETAHUNA, This Day,
The new municipal swimming baths, costing £1600, of which the Government contributed £600 in wages, were opened on Saturday afternoon by the Hon. P. C. Webb in the presence of a large crowd. • Mr. Webb emphasised the Government's desire to assist in the provision of all possible amenities for people who now have time to enjoy them. It was desirable that there should be a swimming bath for every school:
The Minister was. entertained at luncheon by the Borough. Council.
