TE ARO BATHS
IMPROVED INLETS
Karori Baths are being freely used after having been cleaned out. Te Aro Baths are about to be cleaned out also, and there is a proposal to insert deep-water inlets. This, it is expected, will rid the water of any surface matter, besides assuring better circulation.
Wringers are to be provided at municipal baths with the idea of letting bathers wring out their bathing costumes.
Most of the useful suggestions for the comfort and pleasure of bathers come from the swimmers themselves. These latest improvements were suggested to the baths and reserves department by the Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop), himself an enthusiastic swimmet.
