WELSH BY-ELECTION

LONDON, February 12.
The Pontypridd by-election ' owing lo the death of the Labour member Mr. D. L. Davies resulted:—Mr. Arthur Pearson (Labour) 22,159; Lady Rhys Williams (Liberal) 14,810.
At the last general election the late Mr. Davies was elected unopposed.
