SWIMMING RECORD
(Received February 14, 1 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, February 13. Miss Van Feggelen created a world swimming record for 400 metres backstroke, her time being smin 41 2-ssec.
The previous record, smin 58 4-ssec, was established by Miss R. Maste*broek (Holland) in 1936.
