The Hawke Cup match : between Souths Auckland arid Manawatu waa continued 3 o'clock today, when 3 thunderstorm and .continuous rain forced a closure uniJl Monday.
Manawatu, batting on an easy wicket against • accurate bowling and good fielding, took no risks,-arid when rain forced the players to shelter, had lost one for 106 (Robertson 13, McVicar, not' out, 36, Murchison, not out, 48, extras 9). Robertson was bowled by M. Lydn in^that bowler's firstjOver.
