ROWING REGATTA
RESULTS AT NAPIER

NAPIER, February 13
The first, opon regatta conducted by the Napier Rowing Club lor a great many years, held,on the Ngaruroro River at Clivo yesterday, was an outstanding success. This success was made possible by the splendid support given by the Star (Wellington), Wellington, Petone, Wanganui, and Union (Wanganui) clubs, who entered freely in all the events. The entries were a record for the Napier club.'
Results are as follows:—
Single Sculls.—-W. Turner (Napier), W. McLeod (Poverty Bay), dead-heat 1; J. A. Williams (Gisborne), 3. Maiden Fours.—Napier No. 1, 1; Gisborne No. 1, 2; Poverty Bay, 3. Youths Fours.—Wanganui, 1; Union 2; Star, 3. * Junior Double Sculls.—Poverty Bay, 1; Gisborne, 2.
Senior Fours.—Union, 1; Petone, 2; Poverty Bay, 3.
Maiden Pair Oar.—Petone, 1; Wellington, 2; Petone, 3.
Lightweight Maiden Fours.—Union, 1; Gisborne, 2; Poverty Bay, 3. Maiden Double Sculls.—Petone, 1; Poverty Bay, 2; Gisborne, 3. Junior Fours.—Wellington. 1; Napier No. 1, 2; Petqne, 3. LightweighrMaiden Double Sculls.— Poverty Bay, 1; Gisborne, 2.
