There was a good attendance .for the second day of the Rotorua Racing Club's Annual Meeting. The weather was brilliantly fine and hot, and the track was in good order. ' Results:— Tarawera Highweight Handicap, £170; 1 mile and 130 yards,—6-6 School Song, 9.0 (Fergus), 1; 7-8 Poker Face; 9.2 (Sullivan), 2; 9-11 General Ruse, 9.2 (R. Ferguson), 3. Scr.: Belbroney, Lady Chevron, Long Span. One length, one and a half lengths. Time, lmin 52 4-ssec. a Flying Stakes, £150; weight-for-age; 6 furlongs and 30 yards.—l-2 Prival, 9.1. (Clifford), 1; 2-2 Town Section, 8.2 (McKenzie), 2; 3-4 Long Span, 9.1 (Fergus), £ Scr.: Nuipapa, Tementi, Free Advice, Aynho, Simla. Half a length; one length. Time, lmin 17 3-ssec.
