REMARKABLE ESCAPE

Three members of the nursing staff of the Wanganui Hospital, Misses ,N. Balfour, M. Stringfellow, and B. Field, rhad remarkable escapes from injury when a motor-car in which they were travelling-somersaulted three times followingJa collision with another car at the Central Schoolcorner on Saturday af|ernoon. The car, which was owaied" by Miss „ Balfour, was being driven to Grey town by Miss Stringfellow, while the other car involved, was driven by 'Mr. Lan Reynolds,/ of Wrigley Street; Masterton. Miss Field, who', was in tlie rear seat, received minor cuts, but the other two occupants were not injured. The, car was wrecked. The driver of the other car escaped injury. : ,
