MOTORIST FINED

PALMERSTON N., This Day.
A fine of £15 was imposed on John Paea Corner, aged 28, a labourer, of Ohau, in the Magistrate's Court, on a charge of intoxication while driving a motor-car. His licence was cancelled for twelve months.' It was stated by the police that the defendant nearly collided with a traffic inspector. Corner was also fined for a breach of a- prohibition order.
