A SCHOOL CELEBRATION
The diamond jubilee celebrations of the Patea Public School commence today at Patea, states "The Post's" representative, and a number, of Wellington residents are among those who have rallied round their old school, Among them are Mr. W. E. Hird (ex-head-master), Mr. John Grainger and Mrs. F. Grainger (Wadestown), Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Fratley (Petone), and Mrs. Hughson and Mrs. Goddard (Petone). Mrs. Huia Reed has come from Waikanae, and Mesdames Goodwin and J. Thorns from Ohau. ■ ■:'■.■'
