LATE SIR TRUBY KING
BODY LYING IN STATE
The body of the late Sir Frederic Truby King lay in state at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral this morning and many citizens took advantage of the opportunity to pay their last respects to Sir Truby. Eight Plunket nurses were stationed round the coffin and a number of nurses sat in the church. Many beautiful floral tributes have been received from all parts of New Zealand and from abroad. The State funeral this afternoon was preceded by a service at St. Paul's, conducted by the Bishop of Wellington (the Rt. Rev. H. St. Barbe Holland), who also conducted the service at Melrose, where the interment took place.
