Death sentences passed today include six transport workers for sabotaging the Leningrad trolley-bus system, causing a bus to fall into a river, drowning, a number of passengers; also five Crimeans, including two women, one of whom, the Commissar for Social Security, Alexandra Zumbilova, was charged with the embezzlement of hall a million roubles for the support of her husband, the former husband and his wife, and eight other accomplices. The latter received sentences ranging from one to eight years' imprisonment.
