COOL DRINKS
An American doctor has something ;o say about cool drinks on hot days, and how to drink them. He declares :hat the principle is all right—"draw jff the body heat into something colder jy conduction" —but he advises that t should be done gradually. "Cold drinks are good for the purpose, but sip them, don't gulp them down." And 3 word as to the selection of hot-day leverages—they should not be too iweet. Excess of sweetness increases thirst, and the too-sweet drink defeats ts own purpose.
