A very enjoyable cocktail party was given last evening by Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Barnett, at their-residence in Kelburn, to welcome back Miss Beth Moppett and Mr. W. McHardy Forman, I who have just returned to New Zealand after a trip abroad. Mrs. Bennett wore a black velvet frock with a floral lame tunic, and Miss Moppett ail attractive black floral gown.
