WELCOMED BACK
A very enjoyable cocktail party was given last evening by Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Barnett, at their-residence in Kelburn, to welcome back Miss Beth Moppett and Mr. W. McHardy Forman, I who have just returned to New Zealand after a trip abroad. Mrs. Bennett wore a black velvet frock with a floral lame tunic, and Miss Moppett ail attractive black floral gown. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Reg. Aitken, Mr. and Mrs. John Stipek, Dr. and Mrs. Button, Mr. and Mrs. Hardcastle, Mr. and Mrs. G. Bassant, Mr. and Mrs. Richards, Mr. and Mrs. Lash, Mr. and Mrs. Carr, Mrs. Dormer. Miss Roberts. Miss D. Davis, Miss G. Helper, Mr. Allan, Mr. A. Gray, and Mr. L.
