During the recent visit of the Strathnaver to Wellington, one of the leading poultry breeders of New South Wales inspected the stock at the Pines Poultry Farm at Heretaunga, and purchased some breeding birds. ; This will start off the well-known '"Wallaceville" strain in Australia,'and it will be interesting to know later what progress the New Zealand Government poultry stock makes there.
