TWO COMPANIONS PERISH

Oh his return flight' from South America, the Italian flyer Mario Stoppani, who set up what was claimed to be a world long-distance seaplane record in a flight from Cadiz to Victoria, Brazil, crashed in the Atlantic. His seaplane was found in flames. Stoppani was saved, but his two companions perished;
