SEGNI EXPLOSION
(Received February 3, 12.5 p.m.) ROME, February 2.' It is officially announced that .37 were killed by the Segni explosion. A terrific explosion occurred in the Segni munitions i factory near Tivoli. The first explosion occurred in a concrete building where hand grenades and aeroplane bombs were stored. This caused a greater explosion in two neighbouring sheds, followed by a third final explosion. All parts of the town were damaged. Almost, every window was shattered, and doors far distant were torn oil their hinges.
