Mr. A. M. Rapson, M.Sc, marine biologist attached to the staff of the Marine Department at Wellington, will leave for Dunedin in a few days_to join'the research ship Discovery, which is to engage in research work in Antarctic waters, with special reference to whaling. Mr. Rapson will make a study of the methods used in investigating questions of hydrographic and hydrobiological importance.
