Fat lambs: 1700 were penned and sold at full export rates, butchers exceeding the schedule for heavy sorts. Best prices were 26s to 29s for tops. Fat sheep: 5700 were penned and ina keen sale exporters, bought ewes freely z up '. 183 and 19s; light wethers, to 275. All heavy sheep fully maintained last week's rates and light wethers were Is dearer. Best wethers realised 32s 6d to 365; good, 29s to S2s; inferior, down to 245; best ewes 23s to 265; good, 20s to 22s 6d; light, 15s to 18s. ' „ . , Fat cpttle: A vcr? small penning of 368. There was an advance in values or 20s a head for all except light sorts. Best beef made 37s to 40s u 1001b. Top prices were £16 10s to £18 7si 6d; good medium weights; £14 to £16 ss; fight ste. -s, down to £9 10s; best cows and heifers, £11 17s 6d; good. £9 to £10 10s; light cows, down to £5. Fat pigs: Porkers were slightly easier and baconers firmer. Porkers brought 33s 6d to 51s 6d, an average price a lb of 6d to 6id; baconers, 55s 6d to £4 7s 6d. an average price a lb °fStore'pigs: Little change, except that weaners were 2s a head cheaper. Weaners realised 12s 6d to 20s; slips, 21s to 24s 6d; stores. 26s to 28s.
