Culture is not the only thing .whiqh makes a perfect secretary in America, states "the "Sydney Morning Herald." Listen to what some prominent New York business men have to say about personal attractiveness. They have prepared a "personality chart" for use in business training schools, and here are some of the points to be remembered by a would-be applicant for a secretarial post:— Her dress should ( be of "conservative cut and colour." ~ Accessories should be "immaculate, free from signs of wear, , and feminine." Hats should' be "modish and becoming, but not rakish or bizarre," shoes "clean, straight of heel, and conservative," and jewellery "unobtrusive and appropriate." ....:■ :" Hair should be "clean, vital, neat, suitably coiflured for daytime wear, and of natural colour." ' .'.
