Orbell and Miss Janet Orbell,.. "Pentlow," Timaru, will leave next month for England, where Miss .Orbell's'marriage to Lieutenant, Herrick, R.N.; will take place. Miss Molly Orbell is at present visiting Mrs. Wilder, Hawke's Bay. Mrs. A. D. Carson, Rimu Road, Kelburn, with her daughter, Miss Shirley Carson, will leave by the Wanganella on February 12 for Melbourne They will be absent for about two months, returning to New Zealand in April. . , Mrs. W. F. Kent-Johnston arrived from Christcfturch this morning to attends meeting of the committee of inquiry into maternity services in New Zealand. She will return home at the end of the week. Mrs. C. M. Hume, Wellington, has returned from Morrinsville, where she was the guest of Mrs. J. Hewitt. Lady Hicks (Adelaide, South Australia) is visiting her sister, Mrs; Kenneth de Courcy Low, Christchurch, Miss Alice Law, who has been visitj ing Wellington and Napier, has. retUrned toi Auckland. Miss Valerie Rumble, Pipitea Street, is spending a holiday in Christchurch. Mrs. J. H.,Fahey, a Christchurch visitor to Wellington, will return home at the end -of this week. Mrs. Owen Campbell, Wellington,' is visiting Auckland and is the guest of Mrs. A. St. John Dignan, Mount Eden. Miss Nancy Wheeler, Wellington, has returned from a visit to Takapuna, where she was the guest of Mrs. A. M. Seaman. Mr. Peter Bousfleld, the English artist, who has been touring ( New Zealand, is now visiting Wellington.
