Offenders' against the. traffic regulations were dealt with by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., -in the - Magistrate's Court today. Mr. A. R. Cooper prosecuted on behalf of the Wellington City Council Traffic Department. For driving a motor-lorry on September 1 at th& intersection of Brougham and Pirie Streets in a "manner which might have been dangerous, Edward Harold Cole,- of Khandallah, was fined £3 and costs. ■ Herbert Gebrge Earle was fined £5 , and costs for driving a motor-car on the Hutt Road on December 7 in a manner which might have been dangerous. His licence was cancelled, and he was prohibited from obtaining another for three months. A fine of £1 and costs was imposed for crossing a railway line when it was not clear. :■ For exceeding 30 miles. an hour on 'the city portion of the Hutt Road, Walter Farmer was fined £1 and costs.
