LOWER HUTT FIRE
A shed at the- rear of No. 52 Wakefield Street, Lower Hutt, used principally as a storage room by Miss G. Dowries, and owned by Mr. G. B. Jackson, was totally destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. Miss Downes, who is about to ba married, is a heavy loser, as the contents included goods intended for her future home. By Hip time the Lower Hutt brigade was informed the- building was practically destroyed. Neither the shed nor its contents were insured.
