CHANGE IN MEETINGS
Instead of holding the second Dewar Shield meeting at Hataitai Park on February 5, the "Wellington amateur athletic sub-committee has decided, jji response to a request from the Petone Club, to hold the meeting at the Petone Recreation Ground on February 19 It is proposed to have an electric light open handicap meeting at the Basin Reserve on the night of February 5, and for this meeting some special attractions are in view. m ~„„ nf The first Dewar Shield meeting ol tIJ season is to be held at Hafauta Park on Saturday. The shield events comprise 100 yards, 440 yards one mile, 120 yards hurdles, 440 yards hurdles, three miles walk, one mile medley relay, hammer throw, javelin, ™op ttep and jump, pole vault junior 100 yards and 440 yards.
