THEFT OF STAMPS

WANGANUI, January 24.
Described by Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., as a bad type of thief, Harold Charles Martin was sentenced to eighteen months' reformative detention for the theft of stamps valued at £40, the property of Charles Ernest Clinkard, of Wellington.
