CONVICTION IN SYDNEY
MANAGER FINED AND GAOLED

SYDNEY, January 24.
The first conviction under ; ih« amended Companies Act prohibiting share-hawking was recorded" today at the Armidale Police Court, Where Arnold Lovell, aged 46, manager, was fined £100, sentenced to three months' imprisonment, and ordered to pay £100 costs for . illegally hawking shares among farmers and others in th« country. '
