RAIN DELAYS LOADING
f ■ .. . '■'■■ But for the unfavouarble weather conditions Wellington would have been a busy port today, for there are a number of overseas 1 vessels in to load and discharge. The Remuera, which arrived on Saturday from London, the Northumberland, and the City" of Bagdad'had cargo to unload and the Japanese freighter, the Brisbane Maru, was in a similar position. ■_.. The Kaimata and the Port Campbell arrived yesterday from Australia and Auckland respectively to load. The New Zealand Star and the Tekoa arrived from Auckland today to take on cargo and the Wairangi is completing her Homeward loading here. All these unworked vessels will have to be attended to tomorrow and the port will probably be particularly busy.
