SAILING IN SYDNEY
18-FOOTER CHAMPIONSHIP
SYDNEY, January 23. The first heat for the worlds 18----footer sailing championship, in which four New Zealand boats are engaged, was sailed today on the Sydney Harbour in pleasant conditions, with a light south-easterly wind. The New South Wales boat Taree was first and the Queensland, boats Aberdare, Victor, and Marjorie second, third, and fourth respectively. The New Zealand boat Irina wag fifth.
