O'Reilly, of course, is certain for England, even if he does not get another wicket *■ this season, but Grimmett is fighting for another trip, and making a great fight of it, too. There is no more discussed cricketer in Australia today, and wherever you go you can get up an argument as to whether he should be selected or not. .The chief objection, of course, is that'it is asking too much of a; man of his age to go through another, English tour, and. perhaps be expected to bear the brunt of the bowling,, as he has done before. Even those who take this view freely admit that he is still the best bowler of his type in Australia, but their view is that youth should have the preference. However,' we shall see. If the team were being chosen now, one feels that he would be in it. A continuance' of his good form must surely make him a certainty. One is confident that he ; would: still be a great trouble to the best of English batsmen.
