Summons cases involving offences against the City Council and departmental regulations were heard before Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Ernest Bull and Harold Robert Ferguson were fined 10s and costs each for failing to register dogs in their possession. Albert Edward Richardson was fined 5s and costs for a similar offence.

For failing to remove a sink and wastepipe, Muriel Glyde was ordered to pay costs amounting to 10s. George Henry King and Umily King were each fined 20s and costs for failing to comply with a drainage notice.

David McCubbin Scott was fined 20s and costs for failing to obtain a regulrtiori rubbish bin. On'each of three charges of parking lor more than one hour in a restricted area, Acme Motors, Ltd., were fined 10s and costs.

For driving without due care and attention, George Innis was fined 20s and costs.

Ronald Rees was fined 20s and costs for cutting in without allowing a space of 18 feet between his car and the vehicle behind.

A fine of 20s and. costs was imposed on John Stanley Preston for failing to give way to traffic approaching from the right.
