A scheme to enable all political parties represented in the French Parliament to make use of the microphone in turn is being examined by the Superior Council of Broadcasting. It will probably be put into force during the coming winter. Broadcast-political speeches from French stations are by no means, rare,1 but, except at election itimes, the microphone has-been monopolised by the party in power. Free use for all'parties is an innovation.
