HEALTH DISTRICTS
REDUCTION IN NUMBER
The decision announced late last year that the Central Wellington, Wa-nganui-Horowhenua, and WairarapaHawke's Bay health districts would be reduced to two districts for greater convenience in management is given effect to by a proclamation gazetted last night. The creation of the three districts is revoked, and the following new districts are set up:—
Wellingtori-Hawke's Bay Health District.—All that area comprising the counties of Patea, Waitotara, Waimarino, Wanganui, Rangitikei, Kiwitea, Pohangina, Oroua, Manawatu, Kairanga, Horowhenua,. Woodville, Weber, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Patangata, Waipawa, and Hawke's Bay, and all boroughs and town districts geographically contained in or contiguous to the said counties.
Central Wellington Health District. —All that area comprising the counties of Hutt, Makara, Featherston, Wairarapa South, Masterton, Mauriceville, Castlepoint, Eketahuna, Akilio, and Pahiatua, and all boroughs and town districts geographically contained in or contiguous to the said counties.
