RELIEF IN HUNGARY
BRITISH REPRESENTATIONS
LONDON, January 7.
The Budapest correspondent of "The Times" reports that the British representations to Rumania regarding the Minorities Treaty were received with very profound relief by Hungarian public opinion, which, is watching the activities of the Rumanian Premier (Dr. Goga) with the deepest concern.
It is realised that measures directed in the first place against the Jews could not fail to react unfavourably against the Magyar minority.
