Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those for December 31 being shown in parentheses;— Cotton.—Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 4.97 d a lb (4.84 d); February delivery, 4.81 d a lb (4.70 d): • Rubber.—Para, 7|d a lb (same); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 7d a lb (6 7-8 d). Jute.—January-February shipment, Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £18 14s 4£daton (£lB 7s 6d). Copra.—January-February shipment, sun-dried, South Sea to London.or Rotterdam, £12 15s a ton (£l2 12s 6d): smoked,-to Marseilles or Genoa, .£l2 12s 6d a ton (£l2 10s); plantation, Rabaul to London or Rotterdam, £13 12s 6d a ton (£l3 10s).' Linseed soil, £30 15s a ton (£3O). Turpentine, 32s a cwt (31s 9d).'
