The senior swimming championships were continued this morning with the heats of the 220 yards' events.

In the water polo matches, Taranaki beat Wellington by 8 goals to 3 and Canterbury beat Auckland by 4 goals to 2.
The Riverton centenary celebrations, which extended over a fortnight, concluded yesterday in showery weather, much interest being taken in the finals of the centenary bowling, tennis, and croquet tournaments.
