Australia defeated America by four rubbers to One in the tennis Test.
A. K. Quist beat G. Mako, 6-0, 6-4, 6-4; J. Bromwich beat J. D. Budge, 6-2, 6-3, 8-10, 6-4.
Quist had a hollow win, being unextended at any stage. Mako's game was full of errors from simple returns and wild shots.
