ANOTHER CASE
Charged with being ■ intoxicated in charge of a motor-car in Lamblon Quay on December 18, Adam Harry August Pearson, a mechanic, aged 27, appeared before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, 5.M.,. in the Magistrate's Court today.
Mr. R. Hardie Boys, who appeared for the defendant, asked for a remand until Wednesday to enable certain information to be presented. He intimated that the case would not be defended. The remand was granted and bail was allowed.
Mention was made at a recent meeting of the Wellington Ratepayers' Association of the nuisance caused bydogs on boaches ?.bout the city, and particularly at Oriental Bay. Complaints have been received by the association that not only are these dogs a nuisance' to residents and bathers and to the people using the promenade in the evenings but that they are a menace to public health.
