AN INVESTITURE
VICEREGAL RECEPTION
An investiture was herd at Government House, Auckland, when a number of those honoured by the King received their, decorations.
The ladies who, received decorations were Mrs. C. K. Wilson (Piopio),..who wore black faille with large gold'embossed flowers on the skirt; Miss E. M. Nutsey, black embossed crepe ro maine over gold, with a deep cream corsage spray; Miss M. Mayze, black lace with janonica pink flowers on the corsage; Miss E. D. W. Leslie (Whanga* rei)., black lace with red corsage, spray.
Major Arthur Purvis announced the names of the recipients, and the grounds on which the honours were conferred. Included in the viceregal group were Captain R. Stuart French, A.D.C, Colonel N. R. Macky, honorary A.D.C., and Captain I. G. Glennie, honorary naval A.D.C. To one side of the dais were Mrs. Arthur Purvis, Mr..D« E. Fouhy, official secretary to the Gov-ernor-General, and. their Excellencies' three daughters. ■• '.' ■
