YORKSHIRE SOCIETY FUNCTION.
The Yorkshire Society of New Zealand announces its annual Christmas function, which will take place in the rooms of the English-speaking Union, Nathan's Buildings, Featherston Street, next Wednesday evening, at 8 o'clock. An attractive programme has been arranged. On the musical side the artists will include Miss Molly Atkinson, Mr. Owen Bonifant, Miss Ava Symons, Miss Decima Hughson, and Mr. Clement Howe. Mr. J. J. Hemingway will be dialect reader. An amusing competition, with prizes- for the winners, will be a feature. The event will be ladies' -night, the rooms very attractive, and supper will be provided. All Yorkshire folk are cordially invited. The inclusive subscription is Is 6d per person. An unusually enjoyable evening is anticipated.
