NEW WORKS PLANNED

DODECANESE ISLANDS

LONDON, November 18,

The Rome correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" , says, that Signor Mussolini has arranged a visit to the Dodecanese Islands before the end of the year to inspect the defences, par-ticularly-at Rhodes, where he will inaugurate a military and naval air base. It is believed that this and other defence works are planned to offset the British defences at Cyprus.
