DANGEROUS PRACTICE
DEATH OF MAORI CHILD

WHANGAREI, November 18,
Emphasising the danger of children sleeping in the-same beds as the parents, a jury of four returned a verdict of accidental-death by suffocation at an inquest at Kaitaiainto the death of a four months' old Maori girl. The parents' evidence was that when they awakened on Saturday morning the child, which was sleeping in the same bed, was found dead.
