FOG PEAK'S GOOD CHANCE

The Southland Racing Club's Spring Meeting will be held at Invercargili tomorrow, when locally-trained horses will comprise most of the card.' As in other parts of the Dominion, Southland benefited from the heavy rain of a couple of days ago, and so- the tracit should be in capital galloping- order. The betting will be under the win-and-place system. . ; • . ■• The recent New Zealand Cup Meeting has afforded a line to some of the horses, but there is a lot of fresh blood in most of the fields. Fog Peak looks to have a good chance of success after his ood second to Janet ■ Gaynor on Saturday, and Trebleack is another whom Riccarton running places in line as a likely prospect. • The following horses are likely, to be supported:'— : Southland Highweight Handicap.— Pink Robe and Smoko.
