HIGH-PRICED POTATOES
A serious shortage in potatoes, is becoming apparent, reports H. H. Pattle and Co., Pukekohe, and merchants are hard pressed to secure supplies. Values will increase, and no guarantee can be given for prompt delivery. All orders will be filled as soon as possible, and the price charged will be the ruling price on day of delivery. The crops are deteriorating on account of the dry weather and samples are below average. •
