TRIALS IN ITALY
OPPOSITION TO FASCISM

ROME, November 15.' Without mention in the Press the trial has opened ■ of forty-five men. mostly from Genzano, near Rome, who are accused of anti-Fascism. It is alleged that they belong to a Communist organisation. .' There have been four anti-Fascist trials lately, and fifty-five men have been sentenced to terms of imprisonment of up to eighteen years. More trials are "expected soon.^
